Mindfulness meditation has been shown to lower stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure and heart rate, and improve quality of life. Often, people with anxiety feel “I can’t meditate!” because it is difficult to get started. Barbara Heffernan has been teaching people to meditate for over 15 years, and is a psychotherapist who specializes in anxiety and trauma. She will help you feel grounded and confident in your meditation!
This is a live class. Instruction will be personalized and there will be considerable time for questions.
